§ 4-16. Interference.

(a)

It is unlawful for any person to hinder, delay, or obstruct the animal warden or poundmaster, or other officer while engaged in the performance of any duty or power imposed on him by this chapter, or to release, or attempt to release any animal liable to be impounded under the provisions of this chapter.

(b)

It is unlawful for any person to open gates or doors or otherwise to cause or permit dogs or other animals to escape confinement.
