§ 14-1. Penalty; abatement.

(a)

Whoever causes, erects, suffers or maintains any nuisance or other offense prohibited by this chapter shall be punishable as set forth in section 1-8.

(b)

Every such nuisance or offense, when a conviction therefor is had, shall be abated by the chief of police or other proper officer, at the expense of the defendant.
